An experienced music entrepreneur and educator, JJ provides expert strategic advice, training and content for music education establishments including schools, music services/hubs, businesses and exam boards. A strong relationship consulting for one of the world’s leading music examination boards, Trinity College London, began in 2014. Since, JJ has been hired by local councils, independent enterprises, music hubs, exam boards and schools across both the UK and South East Asia to provide services in a wide range of areas relating to music education, including the delivery of peripatetic music teacher training and INSET days.

Other experience includes proof-reading music publications and providing specialist advice for Arts Council, Help Musicians UK and other public funding awarding body applications; informed by his work as co-director of Jazz record label SPARK!.

JJ also has experience writing seminars for conferences and higher education establishments alongside public speaking engagements including the London Football Awards, attended by then England manager Roy Hodgson, legends of the game past & present as well as various key business leaders.
