Education
JJ provides a system of teaching that is both inspirational and functional to students of all ages and abilities. Teaching is focussed on practical ability and musicianship, with professionally orientated exercises aimed at enabling the student to become proficient and comfortable in a wide variety of genres.
 
Active learning and creativity is encouraged, with games and tasks based around the student’s needs. Alongside this, a goal-based system is offered which allows the student to reflect on their progress, identify opportunities to improve and look forward to fulfilling their potential in manageable steps.
 
Previous teaching experience includes ages ranging from 7-25, taking students through Trinity-Guildhall exam board grades 1-8 and teaching students with visual impairment, behavioral difficulties and learning difficulties.
